Union cards are kept absolutely confidential. Only the union and the Labour Board will see the cards.

When the time comes to vote on union matters (e.g., a new collective agreement), a Labour Board Officer holds the vote and ensures there is no interference by either the employer or the union to intimidate or influence the vote. The voting process is confidential and similar to Provincial and Federal elections. No one will ever know how you voted.

The secrecy of the vote and card signer information is protected by law.
